Though, my poems here are not necessarily totally incoherent, they are written on a whim, with little revisions and editing done. They are written in the spirit of DADA and the idea of non- conventional expressions of art within the context of the modern world.

Why don’t you try your own? Get some paper (real paper because that might help you write without the need to edit), and start writing. Keep your sentences short (a few words per line) and to the point. Whatever comes to mind. Don’t allow yourself to think too much. The idea is to think very little. If something sounds funny or quite dark, it’s o.k, this is not a formal paper, don’t worry about what it is that you’re thinking about. Like in dreams, we let ourselves go, and think whatever comes to mind. If later you see a nice rhyme or rhythm or story develop, edit the work to the extent that you want, so you can make it more coherent, but keep to the spirit of being spontaneous. When you put meaning after, the results might surprise you.

BUNNIES

Bunnies play and win my moneys.

Dust to dust.

It’s not worth bunnies.

Learn to jump.

Learn to scream.

But, please bunnies, don’t be mean.

TO BE POLITE

To be polite,

Is to kill.

So go ahead,

Say excuse me.

Be polite,

Don’t raise your gun without a fight.

MINE AND YOURS

Kill my bunnies,

I kill yours.

Drink from mine,

I drink yours.

BATS!

Bats!

My friends!

Lick my face.

Take me to your leader!

PLAY

Zip that sound.

Zoom another.

Play the game.

Count another.

MY CAT

Cat, my cat,

Sit and chat,

Play a tune,

Make a pot,

Play some cards,

Drink to fish,

Make a wish.

SANSA

The prince is on a horse.

What blue eyes!

What great hair!

What a gallop!

Sansa, darling!

Get it before It runs!

FORTUNE COOKIE

Fortune cookie, fortune cookie,

What are you saying?

I have luck?,

I have rights?

I have even fortune?

Go on, tell me more,

Fortune cookie says, “我爱你!”

(I love you!)

And, I say, “No more..”

:September 24th:

WORMS FLY

Worms fly!

All the same,

Little worms,

Taking flight.

Please don’t bother them.

FLOATERS

Floaters float, and I can’t lie,

Fly my float, fly!!

Deep in space, I can see!

Something flouting by!

WHERE HAS THE GOOD ART GONE?

Where has the good art gone?

It has gone to the Mountain.

To pray.

Don’t bother Mountain,

Or, old Art,

Bring us babies,

Bring the young,

Ugly kids,

Ugly life.

:December 2012:

AGE GONE

But, I looked back,

Checked the time,

And only met eyes full of FEAR,

The Golden Age of Heroes was gone.
